Sigourney Weaver Drops Some Interesting Hints About Her Delicious Villain In THE DEFENDERS |

Just like The Avengers needed a mighty big bad to assemble against when they took on Loki and his Chitauri army, so too will The Defenders. Based on what we've heard so far, that will be whoever Sigourney Weaver ends up playing, and there's no getting around the fact that bringing the Aliens actress into this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a very smart move by Marvel TV.
Talking to Variety recently, Weaver had this to say about her role in the show which brings together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. "I can’t say much, because they might kill me," Weaver joked. "I think everyone I work for might kill me if I tell you anything. But I have the most delicious character. She’s really smart, and she’s very in charge." That doesn't reveal too much, but it is interesting and definitely exciting to hear her villain is someone who is clearly extremely powerful.
