Some New BATMAN-Related Easter Eggs From The Extended Edition Of SUICIDE SQUAD Have Been Uncovered |

The extended cut of Suicide Squad won't be released on Blu-ray until next month, but it has been available on Digital HD for a while now, and fans have been combing through the new footage to see what they can find. A Redditor noticed some interesting things in a shot of the Gotham skyline, right before the movie cuts to the scene with Deadshot and his daughter being confronted by Batman.
As you can see (click HERE to enlarge), The Ace Chemicals factory is visible down the bottom right of the image. This building is almost as big a part of Batman lore as Arkham Asylum, and is regarded by most as the canonical birthplace of The Joker, who fell into a vat of chemicals while wearing the mantle of The Red Hood after a tussle with The Dark Knight. It's also where The Clown Prince of Crime brings Dr. Harleen Quinzel in the movie to complete her transformation into Harley Quinn. Read more: |
