Director Spike Lee is currently filming his remake of the 2003 South Korean revenge thriller Oldboy, which was also an adaptation of a manga. Josh Brolin (Men In Black 3), Elizabeth Olsen (Silent House), Sharlto Copley (District 9), James Ransone (Sinister) and Samuel L. Jackson (Marvel's The Avengers) all star in the film, which will be distributed by FilmDistrict. It has previously been stated that the movie will be released in 2013, but we haven't received a specific date until now. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oldboy is set to hit theaters October 11th, 2013.
