SUPERGIRL Producer Confirms Flashpoint Hasn't Brought The Girl Of Steel Into The Arrowverse |

This past Tuesday, we learned that the impact of Flashpoint in the Arrowverse was nowhere near as big as expected. Sure, things are going to be a little different for Barry Allen in The Flash, but beyond that, the ramifications really weren't that significant. As a result, Supergirl's world will not be merged with that of the other DC Comics shows on The CW, and she will remain on her own separate Earth.
Asked by Entertainment Weekly where things stand for the character moving forward, Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg replied: "Not for her entire world, but Kara will be traveling from her dimension to our dimension, “our” being the world that The Flash, Arrow, and Legends lives in." That does feel like something of a shame, but to be fair, it might have been tricky to write the existence of Supergirl, Superman, and cities like Metropolis and National City into the other shows.
