| SUPERNATURAL Gets a New Showrunner |

Things are being shaken up over at CW's veteran series Supernatural. Sera Gamble, who has been a part of the hit series since it first aired has opted to not renew her contract and will be stepping down after the current season comes to an end and Deadline reports that Jeremy Carver will be taking over as co-showrunner. Gamble has served as executive producer alongside Robert Singer for the past two seasons. The duo took over the show after Eric Kripke stepped down after the 5th season, when his "story" was completed.
Carver, who has previously worked on the show has been working on SyFy's series Being Human with his wife Anna Fricke. The team wrote the series which is based on the British series of the same name.
