Good news Supernatural fans! The CW has confirmed that the show will be back for an eighth season, with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki also signed up to return as Dean and Sam Winchester. With the news last month that Sera Gamble would be stepping down for Jeremy Carver to take over as showrunner, another season already seemed likely but this obviously confirms it. E! Online reached out to Misha Collins (Castiel) about whether or not he'll be back to which he said, "I would love to see Cas come back.
