Another actor has removed debunked a casting rumor for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which begins filming this fall. Recently, it was reported that Lionsgate's list of casting choices for the role of 'Finnick Odair' in the highly anticipated sequel have narrowed down to Taylor Kitsch (John Carter), Garrett Hedlund (TRON: Legacy) and Armie Hammer (Mirror Mirror). Recently, Twilight star Robert Pattinson denied that he would play Finnick in Catching Fire, and now we have a denial from one of the aforementioned actors.
In response to an email from L.A. Times, Kitsch says that his participating in The Hunger Games was "Not going to happen." The actor is coming off of both John Carter and Battleship, neither of which made an impression with either the critics or the general audience.
