As it seems, a couple of spoiler-free yet very opinionated reviews of The Dark Knight Rises have hit, and as that goes, not every one of them can be positive of course. Certain fans however, furiously responded to these few negative reviews that gave a different side from what everyone expects to hear. Read below.
Christy Lemire, of the Associated Press, gave the movie two stars, mildly noting that it felt like a “letdown” from an “exceptional, visionary” filmmaker like Christopher Nolan. That brought 495 comments at last count, of which “I hope you die” was one of the most printable.
Marshall Fine, who reviews for the Star and his own website, Hollywood & Fine, also didn’t like the film.
