Just this past weekend, Nickelodeon began airing their new animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a reboot of the popular franchise. The series premiere garnered very high ratings, which makes this news rather unsurprising. In the following press release, Nick have confirmed that the series has been renewed for a second season, which will consist of 26 episodes and begins airing next year.
