When it was announced that Jeremy Renner would be starring in The Bourne Legacy, the news was met with a very mixed reaction from fans. Many were pleased to see The Hurt Locker and THOR actor being given a starring role in what could potentially be the beginning of his own franchise, while the rest were livid that Matt Damon (Jason Bourne himself) had seemingly been replaced.
