From fan favourites Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard comes THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, a mind blowing horror film that turns the genre inside out. Produced by Whedon and directed by Goddard from a script by both, the film stars Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford.
What will The Cabin in the Woods bring to the screen that’s different from previous horror tales?
Well I think Cabin is a classic horror movie and then it is the least classic horror movie I’ve ever made; it really explodes the genre at the same time as it celebrates it. And to me it’s not the final statement but a final statement on the genre - in a way that I think is very new.
