Earlier this week, we brought you some images for the UK release of The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-ray and DVD, but now, official word from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment confirms a December 4th US release. IGN have a list of special features, box art and more from the yet to be seen press release, including the announcement of The Dark Knight Trilogy Limited Edition Giftset (out Dec. 4th) and an Ultimate Collectors Edition of the trilogy, which is set to hit next year. The site also mentions that the film will feature a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack for both the DVD and Blu-ray and that scenes shot in IMAX will change aspect ratio to 1.43:1 on the Blu-ray!
