THE DEFENDERS: Latest Batch Of Set Pics Feature Sigourney Weaver As The Mysterious Alexandra |

Cameras recently began rolling again on both The Punisher and The Defenders, and we've seen some new set snaps make their way online. Following our first official look at the character a couple of weeks ago, this latest batch provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Sigourney Weaver as the villainous Alexandra.

We still don't know what exactly Alexandra's deal is, but the prevailing theory seems to be that she'll be a powerful figure (perhaps a politician) that's come under the influence of The Hand. If she is actually a take on an established Marvel Comics character, the showrunners are definitely playing it down.
Judging from these snaps, Alexandra seems to be keeping a very close eye on Jessica Jones and Luke Cage on the streets of Hell's Kitchen. Read more: |
