Lionsgate is currently contemplating adapting some of their successful movie franchises into tv series and that apparently includes two ensemble action flicks, The Expendables and Red, the later of which was based on DC's limited comic book series from Warren Ellis. Details are still scarce at the moment but which show would you prefer to see? It's doubtful Lionsgate would be able to secure the entire cast of either film for a television series, I'd say that the studio would most likely attempt spinoff shows with one or more of the secondary characters. Maybe Karl Urban and Mary Lou-Parker for Red or perhaps Terry Crews and Chuck Norris for an Expendables show?
