Furious 7 was released last year and broke several records at the box office. It made $353 million domestically and $1.163 billion overseas, together that is a total of $1.516 billion worldwide. It looks like The Fate of the Furious is going to be a massive hit too at the box office! According to sources, the newly released trailer has already had a whopping 139 million views in its first 24 hours of release. That number right there is much more than the likes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (112 million) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 (81 million). The previous record holder was Beauty and the Beast (127 million).
About 90 million of those trailer views came from both YouTube and Facebook, which the majority of those views coming from non-North American territories. That makes sense since Furious 7 made the majority of its money overseas. Now if you look at the Facebook view count, you would see that it's at over 70 million already.
