Deadline report that The Hunger Games is looking likely to open huge based on early tracking buzz. Apparently we are looking at "numbers every film studio can only dream about". Nikke Finke reckons that based on studio guesstimate's, the movie could open to over $70m - beating Twilight's $69.6m in 2008. Of course that's just what is expected, and even if it does open so strongly, doesn't mean it will necessarily be any good! (look at Twilight) However, we also have the first review - of sorts - of the movie from the author of the novels on which it's based..
