The Title For Rian Johnson's STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII Has Now Been Officially Revealed As THE LAST JEDI |

Lucasfilm has just officially announced that "the next chapter of the Skywalker saga" will be titled Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and unveiled the teaser poster below.
Ever since J.J. Abrams The Force Awakens began its theatrical run fans have speculated about what the next instalment in the saga could be called, and more recently several rumoured titled did the rounds - but as far as we know nobody guessed it'd be anything like this. The Last Jedi doesn't necessarily refer to just one character, but obviously that is possibility.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will star Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis, as well as franchise newcomers Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran.
