Talking to MTV Splash Page, The Walking Dead's composer Bear McCreary has let slip some new details on what we can expect from season three. Specifically, the theme which will be associated with the location revealed in the last few seconds of last Sunday's finale: the prison. "Fans who have seen the season finale, have heard a little hint of what could become the prison theme. There’s this rhythmic idea in the bass and the low strings. It’s almost like a jackhammer. I mean, it’s so aggressive and mean and powerful. And it’s kind of subtle here, and it builds up. And as I wrote it, I kind of thought, I could bring this back, you know?"
Talk then turned to how he plans on keeping season three's score feeling fresh without repeating anything which we've already heard.
