It has today been revealed by publisher Thomas Dunne Books that a sequel to The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor will hit bookstores on October 16th, later this year (just in time for season three of the hit AMC TV show). Robert Kirkman will once again collaborate with Jay Bonansinga on The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury. The brilliant first novel told the story of the Governor and included a pretty huge twist which fans are sure to want to follow up on. Thankfully, this on does indeed pics right up from where the first novel left off. Talking about the follow up, Kirkman revealed: "It’s going to be a direct sequel to Rise of the Governor.
