Eyewitnesses observed Hugh Jackman on set, but no clear shots of the star have surfaced just yet. Filming will continue til September 2 and the Buddhist temple. Most of the scenes in Japan will be filmed at locations in Tokyo and Hiroshima. Also, a fun little tidbit, the local title of the film will be, "Wolverine Vs. Samurai." To coincide withe Japanese title, Fox has registered the domain, "wolverine-samurai.jp."

The Wolverine will be directed by James Mangold (Knight and Day), from a script written by Christopher McQuarrie.. The cast includes: Hugh Jackamn (Logan/Wolverine), Svetlana Khodchenkova (Viper), Hiroyuki Sanada (Shingen), Hal Yamanouchi (Yashida), Tao Okamoto (Mariko), Rila Fukushima (Yukio), Brian Tee (Norubo Mori), and Will Yun Lee (Kenuichio Harada/Silver Samurai).
