This North American City Will Double For Gotham In Ben Affleck's THE BATMAN |

While Ben Affleck seemingly won't commit to The Batman one way or another, it sounds like something is happening with the movie as Batman-News reports that their sources tell them that the filmmaker plans to shoot the movie in Los Angeles. It's unclear whether that will take place mostly inside a studio or on the city's streets, but Christopher Nolan used the city for The Dark Knight Rises.
However, that filmmaker spent most of his time placing Gotham City in Chicago, while Zack Snyder paid a visit to Detroit for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Affleck clearly has his own idea about how the iconic comic book location should look, though, so expect him to put his own stamp on it here.
With any luck, Affleck shooting The Batman in LA will mean we can expect plenty of set photos and videos to find their way online. We'll just have to wait and see as it's far too soon to be getting Read more: |
