Tim Burton's Dark Shadows is almost with us, and the director is doing the rounds along with the cast to promote the movie. But in an interview with Cinemax, it's one of his earlier movies that is brought up. Tim Burton's Batman is widely regarded as one of the best CBMs of all time, and undoubtedly ushered in a new era for the genre after Hollywood had pretty much written off comic book based movies after the disastrous Superman 4. Of course it wasn't long before Burton's good work was undone by Mr Shumacker, but be that as it may, his original take on The Caped Crusader still holds up today. Indeed, for a lot of fans his Batman is a more accurate interpretation of the character than Christopher Nolan's. What does Burton think?
