George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the most universally acclaimed movies we've covered here on CBM, though it was only a moderate success at the box office. Perhaps this is the reason Warner Bros. has yet to officially announced a sequel - though various parties involved with the film have suggested there is something in the works.
Now, Tom Hardy himself insists that it is going to happen at some point, stating that he loved making Fury Road and is "hungry" to re-inhabit the role of the monosyllabic madman:
George Miller is a genius! The wheels were rolling from the beginning of Fury Road for three films, so I would assume it’s just crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s.
