Sources tell The Holywood Reporter that Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine, Toy Story 3) is in talks with Lionsgate to rewrite Catching Fire for new director Francis Lawrence. The sequel is set to start production this summer. The rewrite will have to be a fairly quick one due to the pressure Lionsgate are under as a result of scheduling conflicts caused by Jennifer Lawrence's deal with 20th Century Fox for the X-Men: First Class sequel.
