I wasn't even aware that this show was in development! Heavy Metal - released here under its original French title, Métal Hurlant Chronicles - was my first exposure to any type of real sci-fi/fantasy stories as a kid, not to mention a mild bit of comic book erotica. There was already a 1981 animated feature which adapted several of the magazine's serials, but this will be the first live action adaptation. Check out these teasers, a poster and some stills from the new series, which will premiere in France in November, then move onto the UK and Germany. No release date for the US yet..
