TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT Will Have A “Very Direct Relationship” With Paramount’s Planned Spinoffs |

Thus far, Paramount Pictures has released five Transformers films – all of which have been directed by Michael Bay. Even though these movies haven’t been critically acclaimed (only averaging a 32% on Rotten Tomatoes), they have grossed a strong $3 billion overall at the box office.
It was previously announced that after Transformers: The Last Knight makes its way into theaters next year, a Bumblebee spinoff will hit the big screen in 2018, followed by a sixth Transformers film that is currently scheduled for a 2019 release. After that, who knows what Paramount will throw on the table?
During Collider's recent set visit, producer Lornezo di Bonaventura spoke on The Last Knight, and revealed whether or not that film will have connections to the planned spinoffs. “Sometimes is the answer.
