Universal's JURASSIC WORLD Sequel Adds Former SPIDER-MAN 3 Actor James Cromwell |

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that James Cromwell has joined the cast of Universal Pictures' upcoming Jurassic World sequel. Details about his role and/or the film's plot weren't provided.
Cromwell is now the latest actor to join this ever-growing cast, following Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger), Rafe Spall (Life of Pi), Justice Smith (The Get Down), Daniella Pineda (The Originals), and Ted Levine (Monk). They'll all join returning stars Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2), Bryce Dallas Howard (Black Mirror), and B.D. Wong (Gotham) for the next adventure in the land of the prehistoric.
J.A. Bayona is helming (A Monster Calls, The Impossible) the highly anticipated project with a script from original Jurassic World scribes, Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
Production is expected to begin this Spring in England, which should give it ample time to be ready for its June 22, 2018 release date.
