In addition to the highly anticipated Lionsgate-produced reboot, which is due out March 2017, and the well-received line of MMPR graphic novels from BOOM! Comics, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are also receiving a brand new video game, courtesy of Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The game is titled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle and it will be available on both the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One, making it the first Power Rangers game to arrive on current-gen systems and the first game based solely on the original and most iconic team of Rangers to arrive in stores in over a decade. There's no exact release date just yet, but it's expected to hit stores in America January 2017.
The game is a classic beat-em-up, which should bring back fond memories for '90s kids of the 1994 Sega game based on the original TV series and its 1995 semi-sequel based on the movie. The new game will follow the first team, consisting of Jason, Read more: |
