VIDEO GAMES: John Kavanagh Shares His Thoughts On The New STAR TREK Video Game |

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Digital Entertainment Senior Vice President John Kavanagh talks in much detail about the upcoming FPS video game Star Trek - set between the first JJ Abrams film and its upcoming sequel. The game was originally slated for a 2012 release, but it's apparently been pushed to 2013 (around the time the Trek sequel comes out). Kavanagh says that the game isn't really a tie-in to the films, but is merely set within the Abrams-verse (which he thought would make a great video game). He also talks about which audience the game will be aimed at, Paramount's overall approach, what makes a good video game, and much more.
