My Spidery sense was tingling the second it was announced that Felicia Hardy a.k.a. The Black Cat would be featured in the upcoming tie-in video game to Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man. Here's why my inner detective instantly zeroed in on this possibility---
1.) Marc Webb has stated numerous times that his take on Spider-Man will tell a different story than Sam Raimi's trilogy and a big element of Spidey's lore missing from Raimi's film's was Felicia Hardy and The Black Cat.
2.) Unlike other tie-in video games, this latest Beenox Studio effort picks up directly after the events of the film. If I had to make a guess, I'd say Oscorp takes Doctor Connors research and continues experimenting, hence the game's take on the Rhino and the Iguana.
