The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Warner Bros. are moving ahead with a big screen adaptation of Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge, an Oni Press graphic novel created by Brendan Hay and Justin Wagner. The studio has hired Matt Fogel to write the script, while A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas director Todd Strauss-Schulson is attached to helm the project. The movie will be a blend of live action and CGI and is described as being set in a place called Toonie Terrace, where good-natured Toonies rambunctiously and without fail outwit the Meanies, who are trying to do them in. The story is set in motion when Rascal Raccoon finally and unexpectedly kills his longtime nemesis, Jumpin’ Jackalope. Needing a new target, he sets his sights on the animator who created him.
