Warner Brothers Acquires Film Rights To Comic Book Nonplayer PDF Print E-mail

The first of six issues of Nate Simpson's Nonplayer was released by Image Comics back in April and is receiving praises from comic critics and fans. Trying to capitalize on its success so far Warner Brothers, according to Variety, has obtained the film rights to the comic. The film will be produced by Harry Potter producer David Heyman as well as Roy Lee. Reports Variety: Warner Bros. has acquired feature film rights to Nate Simpson's comicbook "Nonplayer" from publisher Image Comics and has set up the potential tentpole project with producers Roy Lee ("The Ring") and David Heyman (the "Harry Potter" series).
