Warner CEO Says No Decision On Green Lantern 2 Yet; Movie Did Not Live Up To Expectations ! |

When Green Lantern opened up, anticipation was at an all time high among fans, despite an onslaught of negative reviews in the days before that. Well, after opening up to a disappointing $52.6M in the US and even more bad reviews following that, the future of the franchise is now unclear, despite recent reports that they're moving ahead with another movie. Well, a sequel hasn't been ruled out just yet, but it's fate remains as up in the air as ever it seems! Here is an excerpt from the report over at The Hollywood Reporter.
Time Warner chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes was clear when asked on a conference call Wednesday how he felt about the box office performance of Green Lantern, the June release from the conglomerate's film studio that disappointed.
