Writer Tony Gilroy Reportedly Made $5 Million From Reshoots Of ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY |

It looks like Jyn Erso and her band of Rebels won't be the only ones absconding with something valuable at the conclusion of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. According to The Hollywood Reporter, writer Tony Gilroy (of the Bourne film series), who was brought in to rewrite and help oversee reshoots for the Gareth Edwards-directed film, will end up with a $5 million paycheck for his services.
The publication details that Gilroy, as previously rumored, was brought in to rewrite certain scenes for Rogue One, including the film's ending, for a price tag of $200,00 per week, along with taking an "active" role in post production with Edwards.
Edwards, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and the film's cast have all denied any sort of serious impact from the reshoots, which were rumored to consist of almost 50% of the film at one point.
