YOUNG JUSTICE Showrunner Says Season 3 Will Feature An LGBT Character |

After a lengthy break, Young Justice season 3 will be returning for more episodes as confirmed by DC Entertainment. Though we don't yet know where the new episodes will air, previous statements from the show's producers and voice actors would imply that Netflix is likely the show's new home. And with the shift from Cartoon Network to Netflix, it seems the show will finally be able to openly depict LGBTQ characters as a series of tweets from co-creator Greg Weisman seem to imply.
However, while initial thoughts would lead most to believe that a new addition to the show would be LGBTQ, Wiseman has previously said that someone already on the show was gay or bisexual but that they couldn't openly depict it due to Cartoon Network guidelines.
