| Early Tracking For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Predicts A $125 Milion Opening |

According to The Hollywood Reporter, pre-release tracking for The Amazing Spider-Man suggests that it will have a six day opening of $125 million +. This will be one of the best openings of the summer blockbuster season, beaten only by the incredible record set by Marvel's The Avengers ($258 million). Tracking isn't always that reliable, but still shows that there is a lot of interest from males of all ages and a fair bit from females under the age of 25 (more than likely due to the popularity of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone). In comparison, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man opened to $144 million, Spider-Man 2 to $180 million, and Spider-Man 3 to $176 million.
