"It's just impossible to stop people," said Christian Bale of the many fans and photographers who turned up on the streets on New York City to catch a glimpse of The Dark Knight Rises being filmed back in October. "I mean, we were doing rehearsals over there and it's like, 'Oh, I can't just punch that guy 'cause he's a paparazzi, he's not an extra.'"
Director Christopher Nolan meanwhile didn't comment on the intrusive presence of the paparazzi, but did however make a point of highlighting just how useful an experience it was to film on the streets of the Big Apple.
