Lou Taylor Pucci In Talks To Join The Cast Of The EVIL DEAD Remake |

Variety is reporting that actor Lou Taylor Pucci(Horsemen, Arlen Faber) is in talks to play a character named Eric in The Evil Dead. Eric is described as an intense and arrogant academic. His intellectual curiosity gets the best of him as he transcribes passages from a mysterious book that the group finds in a remote cabin. Once he recites part of the book it unleashes unspeakable evil upon his group of friends.
If he joins the cast, Pucci will be joining actress Jane Levy, who replaced Mirror Mirror's Lily Collins for the lead role of Mia, the Ash-like character in this version.
Sony announced that the remake for The Evil Dead will hit theaters on April 12, 2013. The movie's script was created by director Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues, with Diablo Cody (Jennifer's Body coming on board to fine tune. Filming won't start until March. Read more: |
