Tom Cruise in Talks to Star in We Are Mortals |

And THR has learned that Warners is again talking to the actor for the lead in its big-budget sci-fi war pic We Mortals Are (aka All You Need Is Kill), being directed by Doug Liman.
Plot - "The story in All You Need Is Kill follows a soldier pressed into battle on Earth against a superior alien species called 'Mimics', then gets killed in action, but is stuck in a time loop and relives his last day over and over. Eventually, he sees things change, he becomes a better warrior and discovers hints that might be the key to altering the outcome."
Basically the movie sounds like Bill Murray's Groundhog Day, minus the groundhog, and add in the aliens. I look forward to seeing the movie, and secretly wouldn't mind watching Tom Cruise get killed over and over again, just to try again and again to save the world from an alien invasion. Read more: |
